What you gain by acquiring everything in the same place is not resolution. It is meaning.
The difficulty is not acquiring an infrared image, or a Raman spectrum. Those techniques exist, and good laboratories have practised them for a long time.
The difficulty is acquiring them in the same place — guaranteeing that a point on an elemental map corresponds to the same point of the work as a point on the radiograph or the relief.
That is the problem our multimodal bench solves: every modality shares one coordinate system, referenced to glass scales.

A measurement says nothing on its own.
A spectrum only means something against references. We maintain our own base of pigments and materials, indexed on spectral indices, Raman lines and elemental signatures.
It grows with every campaign.
We come to the work.
In the great majority of cases we work where the work is. Moving a work is always the moment of highest risk; avoiding it is already a conservation measure.
Some specific analyses require the laboratory. We say so beforehand, never after.
